Motorcycle Accident in area since April
|
La Honda Volunteer
Firefighters were the first at scene of this two Motorcycle vs. Light
Duty Pick Up Truck accident. The east bound driver of the Pick Up was
attempting to turn across Hwy 84, near La Honda, at Mile Post Marker
11:15 when she was hit by two west bound Motorcycles. Both were
reportedly traveling at a high rate of speed. This accident resulted
in the area's fourth Motorcycle Rider death since April making it one
of the worst years ever for such accidents. The second rider suffered
major injuries and was air lifted to
Stanford
Hospital by
Lifeflight Helicopter. The Driver of the Pick Up was transported
to a local hospital by ambulance and the cause of the accident remains
under investigation by CHP. |
