PETER VINCENT TERESI Published in Chico Enterprise-Record on June 10, 2012
Peter Vincent Teresi, 89 of Oroville, CA, passed away on
June 1, 2012.
He was born in San Francisco to Vito and Catherine Teresi.
He had a passion for travel and especially cruising. He
joined the Marine Corps in 1940 until 1945. After
the war, he worked for Trans World Airlines at SFO for 37
years. After his retirement,
he moved to Chico and became a Deputy Sheriff for Butte
County from 1983 until 2004. He then moved to Oroville to
enjoy his second retirement.
He is survived by his sister, Rose Taylor of Vallejo, CA;
his wife of 61 years, Donna Teresi. He is also survived by
his sons, Jim and Rick; and his daughters, Kathi Lampkin and
Paula Teresi. He was recently predeceased by his son,
Raymond. He has nine grandchildren and six
great-grandchildren.
He was a great family man and will be greatly missed.
