Captain Mike Brennan

Dear TWA Ambassadors…

Sad news from Colienne Brennan…
Mike Brennan passed away on Saturday, August 22nd.
Mike was a true TWA’er and a supporter of our club.  He will be missed.
Because of the restrictions of COVID, Colienne will inform us when she can have a memorial for Mike.
As Colienne said, “He loved TWA and the wonderful friends he met during his 33 years of flying.””

Captain Mike Brennan June 28, 1941 - August 22, 2020
Mike joined TWA after the Marine Corp in 1966. The majority of his 33 year career was spent flying out of SFO. The last 20 years he flew out of JFK. Mike retired as a 767 Captain. He love the airline life and never met an international layover he didn't enjoy.

Born in San Jose, CA he grew up in Atherton, CA. He attended Saint Joseph, Sacred Heart and Bellarmine Prep in San Jose, Mike excelled in football at Bellarmine receiving an honorable mention as an All American. He attended San Jose State University and received his BA from San Francisco State University.

Mike is survived by his wife of 40 years, retired F/A, FSM Colienne Auxier-Brennan. Sister Cate, daughter Kelly, Catherine and Jennifer, son Christopher. Three grandsons Dusty, Reece and Holden. Mike and Colienne spent many happy times in Kona Hawaii, where they were married on the beach in 1980. In recent years family and friends spent wonderful days at their villa in Cabo San Lucas enjoying sun, margaritas, fishing, lovely meals and pool time.

Mike grew up in his beloved Atherton, where he resided happily with his wife, Colienne, dog "Como", cat "Lily"until his passing on August 22, 2020. He had been in failing health, but his passing was unexpected and heartbreaking. Mike is now in the company of many dear, life long friends whom he adored.
