Donald K. Kakalia Sr. received his wings to heaven on December 4th 2017. He was born on January 31st 1935 in Honolulu HI. He is survived by his wife Lorraine, with whom he spent 57 wonderful years together, and his children: Uilani Talbert (Chris), Donald Jr., Albert, Lance (Dina), Gregory (Susan), Leatrice (José), and Solomon (deceased) daughter-in-law Rita. 11 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, multiple nieces and nephews and 1 sister Uluhani Dailey.
After 31 years he retired from TWA. He loved to play golf with his friends from Puka Da Sky and grandson Daniel.
He cherished time with his family especially his grandchildren, we will miss his singing talent and his legacy will live on through his Ohana.
Visitation will be Friday, December 8th 2017 at Crosby N. Gray Funeral Home 2 Park Rd. Burlingame CA 94010 from 5-9pm. His resting place will be at Keaulana beach in Nanakuli, HI at a later date.
