2009 Wild Hogs (focus group)
6731 miles and 13 states.
Why the focus group and
how did it start. Every year at least three of us California wild hogs take a
bike trip somewhere. This year we had planed on four of us but as the time got
closer to our departure it came down to just two of us, Howard Hong and me, Bill
Codori.
Our
destination was a BMW motorcycle rally in Johnson City, Tennessee. All was going
well till the heat of Needles, Calif. (111 that day) hit us but hit
Howard's 2004 Harley hard. See the first few photos of the damage that was done.
Now for the forming of
the focus group. Howard being a true biker wasn't going to let a dead bike stop
him from attending a motorcycle rally so he rented a Ford Focus and thus the
focus group was born. Howard rack up a total of 5355 miles on the rental.

What looks like
